Fundraising Blitz

Feb 3- April 10 2010

o   Top seller gets $75 gift card

o   #2 seller gets $50 gift card

o   #3  seller gets $50 gift card

o   Bonus: $10 gift card for every 10 coupon books or carwash cards sold in any combination.

Big thanks to everyone!  The blitz was a great success:

Total revenue: $2658

Profit:  $1224

 

 

Purpose:

To get the bulk of our fundraising sales done in a focused and timely fashion, with enthusiasm and contributions by all team members.  

Items included:

       -        Enjoy the City coupon books.   $20 each, we get $12.

-        Kwik Trip Car wash cards.  $32 each, we get $12.  Good for 5 of the $9 Ultimate Washes at any Kwik Trip, any city.   Got relatives in Wisconsin?   Good gifts!

-        Invest in Youth – replaces Mission Partners program.   Donors can any number of shares at $10 each, and select what perks they want.

-        Scrap gold collection 

How it works:

-        Make contact with friends, neighbors, relatives either in person or by email.   Tell them about the programs and ask if they would like to take part.  Keep track of all contacts.

-        Get coupon books and car wash cards from Curt to fill orders.  Collect money at time of delivery or sale.   Checks go to Holy Cross Lutheran Church.

-        The “Blitz” goes from Feb 3 – April 7

-        Incentives :   

o   Top seller gets $75 gift card

o   #2 seller gets $50 gift card

o   Non top-seller with highest # of people contacted gets $50 gift card

o   Bonus: $10 gift card for every 10 coupon books or carwash cards sold in any combination.

 

Making Contact:

-        Tell people your name and that you represent the Youth of Holy Cross

-        Tell them about our trips this summer

-        Explain that we offer things you would buy anyway or that have exceptional value to them

-        Hand out pamphlet

-        Ask if anything sounds like something they could use

-        Let them keep the pamphlet and mention the ongoing fundraisers and the web site.

-        Take their order if they want anything

-        Write down name and address as a contact in any case

-        Collect money and pick up cards and books from Curt. 

-        Deliver in a timely fashion.

-        Ask if they have any broken gold jewelry or old gold crowns for our collection.
